​ Can I go from dark box dye to blonde in one visit?
In most cases, no -especially with repeated box dye. Dark dyes contain heavy fillers that can react unpredictably when lifted. To protect your hair, blonde transformations are typically done in phases over multiple appointments while conditioning the bonds-and support treatment between sessions.

Most vivid color last 4-5 weeks,deepending on shade depth, hair porosity, and washing frequency and aftercare. When coming to Coastal Color Salon our professional stylists will recommend products and maintenance visits to help your color stay bright and beautiful.

YES- consultations are highly recommended for corrective color, major changes, or vivid color, and are always FREE, at Coastal Color Salon. We sit down face to face and write down your hair history and come up with beauty budget no surprise.

​Should I wash my hair before my appointment?
It's best to avoid any heavy oil or product buildup before corrective or blonding services. However,
sligthily "lived-in" hair is fine. Do not scratch or irritate your scalp before your visit. Avoid using at-home color or color removers before your visit.
